The building is 24' by 24' square. It was built in 1976/77. The upstairs interior was never really finished so the options are up to you. New shingles have been installed on the two lake-facing slopes of the roof in the past couple of years. Access is by logging roads from either Tweedside, Brockway or Tracy, NB. At this time it is only accessible by a 150 metre walk through the woods. The new owners will likely need to make a roadway or ATV trail to access it regularly. It has deep-water access close to shore on the northern abutting cove.
The lake is pristine, with a beautiful remote beach a mile's paddle or boat ride away across the lake. It has been known for good Brook Trout fishing and in recent years Chain Pickerel have appeared, adding to the fishing options.

The building has solid bones and can be used right away. Toilet facilities consist of a conventional outhouse and/or an indoor "Humanure" composting toilet. (Google that concept for more information). Some considerable TLC will be needed to bring it to it's full potential.
Being on leased land, the cost of ownership with lease and taxes combined is under $1000 annually. A (high clearance) vehicle can be parked 150 meters from the property and a driveway of that length could be made, with appropriate permits. With some additional cost and effort you can make this wilderness paradise into a coveted dreamscape. It will need more asphalt shingles replaced and new windows upstairs. There is no bathroom, just an outhouse.
