Hi, if there is anyone on Qdb.ca looking for the perfect
housing arrangement, but is not finding what they are looking for because of inadequate square footage or actual living/storage space required but not offered - on Qdb.ca, might I then suggest a 'shared rental' in a house ie. renting a house together with a third person (and, with a third renter).

I have almost thirty years experience renting-independently in Winnipeg, MB, and have seen it all. I've rented rooms in 'rooming houses', one bedroom apartments by myself, two bedroom apartments with roommates, 'shared rentals' in houses with perfect strangers, and entire self-contained duplex-like suites inside houses - all to myself.

What I am finding now is that Qdb.ca has absolutely no
satisfactory housing to offer - if your person requires any real storage capacity, and which exceeds living out of a suitcase in a hotel room, per se.

It seems the most sensible and viable option would be to rent a house and split the rent three ways, and split-even. ie. $500-$700/month each -or- $500-$700/month x 3tenants/renters.

I am sure and confident a very nice house could be rented for anywhere between $1500 - $2100 per month.

Otherwise, I can't foresee any other problem or hurdle apart from each tenant/renter having to assure the respective Property Owner/Landlord of each-own's ability to pay rent in-full and on-time at the same time each month.

I think the most realistic and timely approach would be move in with first month of tenancy beginning in about four to five months. I think four to five months would be enough time for each person (prospective tenant/renter/rooommate) to prepare for the logistics of a move-out, and should also be more than enough time to find a place and court the official processes involved between prospective tenants and Landlord/Property Owner.

If you and/or your person are interested in the prospects of this arrangement in particular, please drop me a line and so that we might be able to initiate this venture, and eventually court the process - itself.

Please be aware, I have all the time in this world - to
spend looking for respective house for rent - in Winnipeg, MB. I know its neighbourhoods well and would consider the economic (cheapest) options.
Safety and security would also be an equally-important concern and factor influencing final decision or where to settle/rent, respectively.

My name is Adam. At present I am renting at 407 Beverley St. and am now considering other housing options, but storage capacity is key, and so far I'm not seeing it with Qdb.ca.

I am 50 yrs. of age. I am academically-inclined. I have been renting-independently in Winnipeg, MB during past twenty nine years - straight.

My ability to pay rent on time and in-full at the same time of every month could be assured.

I am mature, respectful, and responsible. I am personable and polite, but usually keep to myself.

I spend most of my time in my bedroom, and go to the kitchen and bathroom from time to time. Apart from going out (cycling) and running errands every few days, I also attend a few evening appointments and engagements (venues - attended) during the month - monthly.

At present, I spend much of my free time just behind my computer doing what I like to do.
