Hello:

I am looking to rent a room for no more than $500, utilities included. I'm a mature female, 58 years old, and have been living in a toxic living situation with my very temperamental and verbally/emotionally/mentally abusive male roommate. Him and I do not get along and I just want a place that is peaceful and quiet that I can call home with others who are not prone to ugly, toxic moods.

I have no dependents. I am clean, tidy, and respectful who can get along with almost anyone. Just NOT my male roommate.

I require a room that is mostly unfurnished. I would just need a bed as I have my own bedroom furniture.

I'm not yet currently employed, but I have been actively searching and applying for jobs. I'm on income support for the time being, and I think I can get the $1000 'flee fund' as AB Works calls it.

The room MUST be located in the city of Edmonton, not outside the city or on an acreage. I require public transit to get around, so it must be on or located near a good bus route.
